If you’re like most iPhone users, you play games to keep yourself occupied in those minutes during the day when you just have little else to do. Usually this is while waiting for something, like while you’re in line or riding in a bus or taxi.
A favorite long-running franchise in time management games has been the Diner Dash series, which likely started off the entire TM genre. iTunes has Diner Dash Deluxe for the iPhone and it’s one of the more fun games I’ve played recently.
The game is a throwback to some of the originals that started the whole thing and is one of the better in the Dash series I’ve tried. Several scenarios have you running and improving a diner in various locations, such as the bonus hot air balloon (Zeppelin).
The game retains all of the hectic fun of the original and is the first of several Dash games now available in the iTunes App Store.
The Dash series is made by PlayFirst, sells for $2.99 on iTunes, and doesn’t use much space at only 19M. It will run on any iOS 3.0 or later device.
Very cool and very fun! Well worth the price to fill in those boring minutes while you wait.
