I have used both of these for my company. Using cats at first, I felt very hard to manage the controls, very complex system. As soon as I switched to simplicant, I just started loving it. It's very much simple and easy to use and manage as compared to cats.

While you are at it, also checkout CATS. http://www.catsone.com . I find simplicant a bit too simple. CATS seems to have both simplicity and rich feature set. Try both and be the judge...see what fits your needs.
