Utterz Changes Name To Utterli And Loses Mascot
It is what the people want, extensive market research shown that the name Utterz was very unappealing to some users, mainly women. While Utterz was never intentionally trying to offend anyone, they felt the research had justification and re-branded their site. The mascot Old Bessie has been put to pasture, no news on the new mascot as of yet, but the name change is in effect.
The users at former Utterz and now newly renamed Utterli should feel some appreciation towards the company for so quickly recognizing and meeting their needs.
New Interface For Utterli
Utterz did not stop at making the change to Utterli, they kept on giving to the people. The new interface has changed to allow users to implement the social networking sites features from their mobile devices. The market research proved that the need for this conversion was increasing and to keep up with the competition it was a very necessary change.
The site has also added group features to the social network, allowing user to create, join, or browse through groups that are of interest to them. Users can create a public group that anyone can join, a private group that will require an invite to join, or even hidden groups, that no one will ever see.
Utterz, while some may have found the name offensive, has offered wonderful features and a great social site for their users. The new face of Utterli has done everything possible to prove to their users, they do care what they want, and will continue to give it to them!
