Bybit Pay, Idram to launch crypto QR code payments

The collaboration reflects Bybit Pay’s ongoing efforts to expand global crypto payment infrastructure through localised initiatives that deliver practical benefits to digital asset users

Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has announced a strategic partnership between Bybit Pay and Idram, a leading Armenian financial services and digital payments provider.

The collaboration reflects Bybit Pay’s ongoing efforts to expand global crypto payment infrastructure through localised initiatives that deliver practical benefits to digital asset users.

To mark the launch of the partnership, Bybit Pay and Idram will hold an official ceremony on October 22, 2025, in Yerevan, Armenia. Executives from both companies will address fintech partners and regional payment industry representatives, outlining their shared commitment to advancing digital payment innovation and strengthening financial connectivity across the region.

Bybit and traditional fintech companies are natural partners. Bybit Pay’s expansion to Armenia powered by Idram’s network is another step in building our global reach and elevating crypto convenience for our community, said Sophie Chen, Head of Marketing, Payment Business Unit at Bybit.

We are committed to establishing deep, meaningful partnerships that create lasting value for local communities, Chen said.

Through the partnership, Bybit Pay and Idram will offer QR code payments at more than 25,000 in-store locations across Armenia.

Idram, which holds over 90% of the country’s QR payment market, has been providing compliant and innovative digital payment solutions for more than two decades.

For merchants, Idram provides single-point access to the broader Eurasian Economic Union market, serving over 185 million people.

International users of Bybit Pay will also benefit from a seamless payment experience using the app while visiting Armenia.

Bybit Pay continues to expand its reach while supporting broader financial accessibility.

The service is available to global users who have completed Identity Verification on Bybit.
