Facebook will have GIF commenting

Facebook

Facebook is making the process of using GIF a lot more convenient. The social network is testing out a search feature that will allow users to find the perfect GIF right on Facebook and instantly post it as a comment.

“Everyone loves a good GIF, and we know that people want to be able to use them in comments,” Facebook told TechCrunch. “So we’re about to start testing the ability to add GIFs to comments, and we’ll share more when we can, but for now we repeat that this is just a test.”

And even though Facebook is only testing the feature, it seems likely that it’ll be able to make it permanent, considering the feature already exists on Facebook Messenger.
