Cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin may have lost their shine as investments but that is not affecting the real estate fans. Salvatore Liggiero, an Italian developer revealed the design of the world’s first Bitcoin Tower. This 40-story architectural wonder is planned to be built in Dubai. And it will be in the form of the Bitcoin currency sign.

Liggiero asserts that his perception for the hotel does not come under the conventional notion of hospitality. The developers will include several technologies, and sustainable materials to construct the building. The developers have also offered a commitment to zero CO2 release in constructing the building.

What sets the building apart is its approach to guest experiences. A post on Binance Feed details the combination of the worlds of hospitality and cryptocurrency, the hotel will offer guests exclusive non-fungible tokens (NFTs) as rewards.

The rental cost for a stay at the tower is not only a payment but also an investment opportunity. Visitors will effectively stake cryptocurrency, producing an annual percentage yield (APY) that they can claim.

He asserted the hotel will be the first of its kind and will give back the money. This notion aims to educate the general public about cryptocurrencies as well as inspire active involvement in the digital economy.

The developer invites artists, architects, creatives, and crypto fans to provide their works to the project. These creations will make for an exclusive non-fungible tokens collection dedicated to the tower’s design and interiors.

The Bitcoin Tower aims to honour the token and its mysterious creator, Satoshi Nakamoto.

Liggiero visualises the project as an open venture, in view of the formation of a decentralized autonomous organization to govern the project. Liggiero believes that community input is necessary and aligns with the propositions supported by Satoshi Nakamoto.

The Bitcoin Tower will have a physical version to be built in Dubai as well as a virtual one to be launched in the metaverse. The location of the tower is yet to be decided. Nevertheless, the designer expects to secure consent for constructing the building near Sheikh Zayed Road, a part of the Dubai skyline.
